Emphasize Combo Formulas

Stocking up on combination formulas rather than the wide variety of individual remedies makes the most sense to achieve high-velocity sales. The science and theory of homeopathy is incredibly detailed, and most consumers do not have the desire to get that specific, or they will be easily intimidated and, thus, turned off.

For example, how many customers know to buy Pulsatilla nigricans for yellow-green discharge as opposed to clear mucosal discharge? However, a homeopathic cold/flu remedy will sell while poor old Pulsatilla languishes on the expensive real estate that is your shelf.

Also, many people do not have access to a physician who is knowledgeable about homeopathy.  Combination formulas are excellent for those who are self-treating without the benefit of a consultation with a homeopathic doctor, but can find guidance from natural health retailers.

Typically, after a detailed consultation, a homeopath will prescribe one homeopathic medicine just right for the individual. A combination formula is more like an all-inclusive approach; it combines a number of appropriate homeopathic ingredients into one “wholesome” remedy.  Each individual remedy addresses a different aspect of a chronic health issue so it has a much better chance of being effective for customers.

Homeopathic combinations make the best sense for chronic annoyances, such as sinus and allergies. For example, allergies can be accompanied by watering or itchy eyes, runny or stuffed-up nose, a headache, skin rashes, scratchy throat and feeling tired and out of sorts.  Most people suffer from the same range of symptoms with allergies.  Combination formulas are an effective way to help allergy sufferers.
