NOVATO, Calif.—The Republic of Tea introduced Raw Bush Green Tea, a line of green rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) tea. Immediately after harvest, green rooibos is lightly steamed to halt oxidation, retaining the green color in the leaves (the stalks are naturally red). This green rooibos is just lightly steamed at under 115°F. It is minimally processed and does not go through any pasteurization. This raw state preserves the plants natural live benefits.
