Health Care Professionals Using Supplements

WASHINGTON—The majority of physicians are practicing what they preach on a healthy lifestyle—eating a balanced diet (82 percent), exercising regularly (73 percent) and taking vitamins and dietary supplements (72 percent)—according to the “Life...supplemented” Healthcare Professionals (HCP) Impact Study. According to the study, supported by the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), nurses are slightly more likely than physicians to eat a balanced diet (87 percent) and take supplements (89 percent); however, they are less likely to exercise regularly (67 percent).
