LAKELAND, Fla.—Publix GreenWise, a natural market owned by the supermarket Publix with three locations in Florida, added fried chicken, birthday cakes and a soda fountain to their food offerings.
While these food options may not fit with GreenWise’s description of itself on its Web site as a “destination for all-natural, organic and earth-friendly shopping,” the company said it was tweaking the GreenWise stores to match customers’ feedback.
