Doctor’s Best ~ 3000 GDU Bromelain

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.—Doctor’s Best introduced 3000 GDU Bromelain, which comes as 90 vegetarian capsules, each providing 500 mg of bromelain with an enzymatic activity of 3,000 gelatin-digesting units (GDU) per gram. Bromelain is an enzyme derived from pineapple stem and fruit that has proteolytic (protein-digesting) properties. The 3000 GDU refers to the standardization of enzymatic potency.
