EMERYVILLE, Calif.—Plum Organics has issued a voluntary recall for a batch of Apple & Carrot Portable Pouch baby food misidentified as a high-acid food and improperly processed to inactivate Clostridium botulinum. The products have a “best by” date of May 21, 2010.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with the products.
