PORTLAND, Maine—The Maine Grocers Association (MGA) named Waite Maclin, founder Pastor Chuck Orchards, “Food Producer of the Year.” This award honors food manufacturers who have generated relationships with retailers to strengthen opportunities of Maine food products to be sold through Maine grocery stores. Maclin’s passionate involvement with the Maine Food Producers Alliance was also a contributing factor in his being chosen.
