CARLSTADT, N.J.–Chef Hymie Grande released a line of artisanal barbecue sauces that carry the American Diabetes Association (ADA) mark on the bottle’s label because they meet ADA’s specifications. Chef Hymie Grande products contain no high-fructose corn syrup or processed sugars, and are vegan friendly and all natural. The barbecue sauces are cooked in small batches to preserve the integrity of the taste and quality. Jamie Faitelson, a.k.a. Chef Hymie Grande, offer three barbecue sauces: New Mexico, mildly spiced with New Mexico and ancho chilies; Polapote, made with ancho and chipotle chilies; and Cascabel Express, with ancho, chipotle, habanero and cascabel chilies. A portion of the proceeds from every bottle sold is donated to the ADA.
