RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif.—ResVez Inc.’s Resveratrol WineTime™ Bar was selected as the "Official Gourmet Nutrition Bar" of The Tasty Awards, which celebrate and recognize the year's best achievements in food and fashion on television, in film and on the web. Award winners will be revealed at a red carpet show in San Francisco on Jan. 14, 2009, portions of which will be filmed for broadcast on national television to millions of households.

The WineTime Bar is a nutrition bar that contains resveratrol, the ingredient in grapes acclaimed for its potential heart-enhancing and life-extending abilities. The dark chocolate, fruit, date and almond bar contains as much resveratrol as 50 glasses of red wine. The 190-calorie product contains high-grade resveratrol from two sources—French red grapes, and a 99-percent pure compound called resVida®, produced by DSM Nutritional Products.
ResVez Inc. was also recently accepted as a member candidate of the National Association for the Special Food Trade and will be presenting the WineTime bar in the New Brands on the Shelf Pavilion at the annual Fancy Food show in San Francisco, January 17 to 19
