PHOENIX–Sprouts Farmers Market’s Centennial, CO store will open on Feb. 26, 2010. The 26,245 square-foot market, located at 20811 E. Smoky Hill Rd., joins other Colorado locations in Aurora, Boulder, Castle Rock, Fort Collins, Parker and Westminster. Additional Colorado stores in Greeley and Lone Tree are scheduled to open later this year.

“We are very excited to open Sprouts in Centennial and provide the community with an abundance of choices on fresh, local favorites,” said Doug Sanders, President and COO, Sprouts Farmers Market.“We have a passionate belief in offering ‘healthy living for less,’ and look forward to offering great savings on delicious, healthful foods.”

This new store will feed the healthy appetite for natural foods in the region. Sprouts, with its low-profile shelves, old-fashioned farmers market décor and oldies music playing in the background, offers a unique shopping experience.  “Such a bustling city deserves a simple and spacious market to find fresh and natural foods at a great price,” said Dave Medina, Centennial Store Manager, Sprouts Farmers Market.” “We are honored to join the community and grateful that local residents have shown such an enthusiasm and anticipation for our opening,”

Sprouts Farmers Market, with this opening, will have 46 markets in Arizona, California, Colorado and Texas.  In addition to the Colorado openings, 2010 expansion includes five new locations in California; Culver City, San Diego, Sunnyvale, Thousand Oaks, and Valencia.
