Petite Select ~ Organic Kosher Baby Food

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.–Petite Select, a division of Nature’s Select Food Group, will introduce its organic kosher baby food menu at the Natural Products Expo West, March 11 to 14, 2010 in Anaheim, California. Made with all organic ingredients, Petite Select offers four classic meals: Mango Jambo, a medley of mangoes, pears, bananas and Amaranth grain (per serving, 120 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein); Petite Shepherd’s Pie, a blend of ground beef, vegetables, and tomato sauce, topped with creamy mashed potatoes (per serving, 100 calories, 5 grams of fat, 2 grams of fiber, and 5 grams of protein); Pasta Bolognese, featuring whole-wheat pastina with organic ground turkey in tomato sauce (per serving, 130 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 3 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein); and Beef Barley, beef with barley, carrots, potatoes and celery (per serving, 110 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 2 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein). Each meal is sold in two four-ounce packages (113 grams) and is cooked in small batches to control quality.  The meals are packaged in a manner that retains essential nutrients, and is flash frozen to lock in freshness. Additionally, all containers are plastic BPA free and will soon be biodegradable paper tubs.
