SAN FRANCISCO–American Masters of Taste selected Zola Açaí Original Juice as the winning product line in the “Açaí Beverage” category for foodservice and retail. The judging was conducted “triple blind” in Northern California by a panel of Chef Masters of Taste. The Chef du Jury was Mâitre du Goût (Master of Taste) Jesse Sartain. The protocols of “triple blind” ensure evaluators do not know who the manufacturer is, what the product variety or appellation is, or what the other evaluators’ scores and comments are for each product tested.
