DURANGO, Colo.—Zuke’s released a statement regarding its dedication to protecting the environment, including special attention to ingredient sourcing, eco-conscious production and packaging initiatives. In addition, the company offers eco-incentives to its employees like rewarding them for biking to work. Zuke’s also powers its offices with 100-percent green electricity.

All of Zuke’s packaging boxes are made with 100-percent recycled paperboard. The box itself is made smaller and filled fuller resulting in the use of 20-percent less material in their packaging than their competitors. Its baked products are also produced in a plant powered by 100-percent wind energy.

Zuke’s also takes give back to its communities by continually donating a portion of all their proceeds to the Dog & Cat Cancer Fund, as well as supporting area humane societies and sponsoring dog athletes.

Zuke’s meats, grains, fruits and veggies are sourced in the United States, with the exception of lamb and venison, which come from New Zealand. Zuke's treats do not conatin harsh preservatives like BHA, added animal fat or tallow, by–products or artificial colors or flavors, or low-cost fillers like wheat and corn.
