PHOENIX—Sprouts Farmers Market will open its 13th location Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 7 a.m. The store, located 600 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks (southwest corner of Lynn Road and Hillcrest Drive), will feature savings on great-tasting, fresh foods and provide free reusable totes for all purchases throughout the day.
The “grand” deals for opening week include: $1, $2 and $5 sale on a wide variety of popular items through Sunday, May 16th; 50 percent off all cuts of organic beef; $0.49 a pound sale on a variety of produce; Sprouts made-to-order deli sandwiches for $3 (regularly sold at $3.99 each); all purchases will be bagged in green reusable Sprouts bags all day (5/12); and free samples.
The 31,326 square-foot market will join other California locations in Brea, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Claremont, El Cajon, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Orange, Riverside, San Marcos, Seal Beach, Torrance and Tustin. The addition of this location brings the total to 49 locations throughout Arizona California, Colorado and Texas. Sprouts plans four upcoming stores in the region; Culver City, Sunnyvale and Valencia are scheduled to open later this year.
