ROMEO, Mich.–Free Range Dog Chews Inc. released Buckarooz, long-lasting deer antler treats. The marrow-filled antlers are high in calcium and phosphorous, and have smaller amounts of other natural minerals. Buckarooz deer antlers are renewable resources in nature that come from U.S. free-range wild deer. No deer were harmed in any way to obtain these treats. Once the antlers fulfill their purpose for the animal, they fall off naturally. New antlers then grow in their place. One of the fastest-growing tissues known to man—growing about one-half inch per day during the peak development period of deer—antlers have a “velvet” covering that carries oxygen and calcium the deer have stored in their bones throughout the year. Buckarooz antlers range in size from small (5 inches) to jumbo (12 inches). They come in premium packs that are in individual bags with a header card that hangs on pegs. Free Range also provides 1-pound Value Packs for the retailer that are packed in recyclable, earth-friendly Vexar net bags. The antlers are odorless and will not splinter or chip. No hormones, antibiotics, animal by-products, steroids or preservatives are added to Buckarooz. Free Range Dog Chews thoroughly tests all of its treats by an independent, third-party U.S. laboratory that uses APPMA- and FDA-approved methodology. None of the treats are found to have pesticides, melamine, bacteria or contaminants.
