NORWAY, Iowa–Simply Organic added 11 new seasonings and spices to its line of mini spices. Some of the new additions are recognizable staples – cayenne pepper, curry powder, lemon peel, marjoram, nutmeg and tarragon, along with black sesame seed and chipotle pepper. New pre-blended seasonings include herbes de Provence, garam masala and pumpkin pie spice. Simply Organic’s organic spices contain no preservatives or additives. According to the company, offering spices in mini containers provides retailers several advantages over larger spice bottles, including increasing turns, ensuring freshness and, when used in conjunction with the colorful self-dispensing display, minimizing labor stocking costs.
