WineTime Bar Gains Patent-Pending Status

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif.—ResVez Inc., creator and marketer of ground-breaking nutrition bars, announced the Patent Pending status of its Resveratrol WineTime Bar. A Patent Pending Status number for a nutritional food bar and method has been assigned by the U.S. Patent & Trademark office. The provisional patent application now entitles ResVez to market the WineTime Bar as Patent Pending.

According to the company, ResVez is the first to produce a food bar with resveratrol. The bar, a dark chocolate and fruit bar, harmonized with dates and almonds, contains as much resveratrol as 50 glasses of red wine. The 190-calorie product contains high-grade resveratrol from two sources, premium French red grapes and a 99-percent pure compound.

The WineTime Bar is high in fiber (7 grams), and includes seven extra superfruits—noni, pomegranate, goji, acai, mangosteen and blueberry. It is gluten and dairy free and contains no trans fat, hyrdrogenated oils or high-fructose corn syrup; no artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors or preservatives; and no cholesterol.
