NEWPORT BEACH, Caif.–– Eat Cleaner, an all-natural line of produce wash and wipes, is expanding its product offerings and distribution. Eat Cleaner is available in both an 8-oz. spray bottle and a 10-pack of individually wrapped wipes in a reusable pouch; displays can be set up in the produce aisle for easy consumer pick-up. Formulated to strip pesticides, wax, contaminants, bacteria and debris from produce, Eat Cleaner, is made of plant-derived, FDA-approved ingredients and is lab-tested effective in killing up to 99.9 percent of E. coli and Salmonella. Both the spray and biodegradable wipes are also ideal for cleaning countertops, cutting boards and cooking utensils, as they are made without alcohol or chlorine.
“The Eat Cleaner display [should] have a prominent presence in the produce aisle, where studies show over 70 percent of shoppers buy,” said Eat Cleaner founder Mareya Ibrahim. “Plus, Eat Cleaner is shelf stable, an incremental ring for the produce department. ... Food safety is the leading issue in the produce industry and studies show 80 percent is attributed to poor handling practices.”
The product is now available in West Coast outlets, as the product has been picked up by more distributors for retail sales.
