MONTVALE, N.J.-- Good Earth, a Tata Global Beverages brand, is expanding into the food category. The company developed a line of shelf-stable meals inspired by the Good Earth Restaurants via a licensing agreement with General Mills. General Mills' Restaurant Favorites brand is adding Good Earth to its roster of dry dinner kits, which includes licenses with Wanchai Ferry and Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
In keeping with the restaurant's reputation, the Good Earth Restaurant Favorites meals will feature 100-percent whole grain pasta and rice dishes with no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors and zero trans fats. The meals come in four varieties: Spicy Citrus Glazed Shrimp, Herb Crusted Chicken, Mediterranean Chicken, and Tuscan Chicken. Customers can customize the entrees by adding fresh ingredients as well.
"These easy-to-make, alternative dinner kits are a natural fit for Good Earth," said Deborah Glasser, marketing director at Tata Global Beverages. "Our consumers want nutritious options and they get that with Good Earth teas. Now they can get that with Good Earth dinner kits as well."
