OGDEN, Utah--After four years of preparation, Trace Minerals Research (TMR) will be opening a new harvesting facility located near the Great Salt Lake. The new facility is owned by a sister company of TMR, and has all approved licenses from the state of Utah to harvest minerals from the Great Salt Lake. The new facility uses solar energy to power many of its manufacturing operations as well.
The new facility is located on the north side of the Great Salt Lake and is surrounded by thousands of acres of private property and is protected by 24-hour surveillance. In addition to heightened security and green energy improvements, the new facility was designed to allow for a faster innovative evaporation process that decreases the time the minerals are exposed to the environment.
“We have been working diligently on this new facility since 2006," said Matt Kilts, managing Partner of TMR, in a press release. “The purpose of building this new, modernized, green facility was to have more security and control over our mineral harvest to ultimately provide our customers with the highest quality product."
For more than 35 years, TMR has been providing the natural products industry with essential trace minerals from the Great Salt Lake for supplement use and is the exclusive provider of ConcenTrace® Trace Mineral Drops. Today, the company uses these naturally balanced, naturally occurring minerals as the basis for all products in its branded product line. TMR is focused solely on servicing the natural products industry and the company’s complete line of superior quality nutritional supplements is backed by a “Feel the Difference or Your Money Back" guarantee. In addition, TMR has been Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified by the Natural Products Association™ since 2004.
