BOULDER, Colo.—Evol® Burritos released a new line of 7-oz. burritos and wraps made from natural and organic ingredients. The new burritos feature all-natural, humanely raised proteins with no hormones or preservatives, as well as ethnic-inspired flavors and new recipes from Phil Anson, chef and EVOL founder.
Evol’s new burritos feature prime cuts of meat from sustainable partners like Niman ranch and Petaluma Poultry. The new burritos are available in three varieties: Fire Grilled Chicken Fajita, Fire Grilled Steak Fajita and Pork Carnitas. The meats are fire-grilled and paired with cilantro and lime rice. The Pork Carnitas are marinated in orange juice and garlic, and the salsa is made with tomatillos and tomatoes.
The new wraps included Veggie Curry and Mediterranean Couscous, which are both organic and vegan. The yellow curry is prepared using a medley of traditional spices, coconut milk and lemongrass. The new Teriyaki Chicken Wrap contains free-range white meat Petaluma Poultry chicken, jasmine rice, veggies and a teriyaki sauce.
Each burrito and wrap contains 13 to 20 grams of protein and 320 to 430 calories.
