LOS ANGELES—Twelve of Noah’s Naturals skincare products received the “certified natural" seal of approval from the Natural Products Association (NPA). Under the NPA's program, to merit bearing the seal, products must follow strict guidelines set by the association. Products must be comprised of at least 95-percent natural ingredients – coming from a renewable or plentiful source found in nature. Non-natural ingredients are allowed only when viable natural alternative ingredients are unavailable, and only when there are absolutely no suspected potential human health risks. Products cannot use animal testing beyond what is required by law, and they must use a majority of (bio)degradable and post-consumer recycled content in their packaging.

“The Natural Products Association is pleased to have certified 12 products from the Noah’s Naturals line of skincare products," said Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., vice president of global government and scientific affairs for the NPA. “The NPA Natural Seal provides consumers with confidence that these products are natural, responsible and sustainable. The Noah’s Naturals certified products join the hundreds of other NPA certified products that are truly natural."

Noah’s Naturals founder Noah Bremen said “Today, the demand for natural personal care products is higher than ever, and the marketplace has reacted accordingly. Third-party certification is important in that it lets consumers know which products are authentically natural. To have the NPA recognize Noah's Naturals is not only an honor, but it lets consumers who care about the quality of their products know that ours are among the best."

Noah’s Naturals products are formulated with only the purest and most efficacious ingredients that Mother Nature has to offer. Each product contains naturally derived plant ingredients, essential oils and proteins to provide nourishing and effective care. The Noah’s Naturals collection is also completely free of the harsh chemicals that can be found in conventional skin care products, such as parabens, propylene glycol, petrolatums, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), phthalates and animal by-products. Additionally, Noah’s Naturals does not perform any animal testing.

Since the natural standard certification program was implemented two years ago, just a fraction of the natural personal care products in the marketplace have met the NPA’s stringent criteria for certification. In fact, the NPA recently surpassed 300 certified products – and Noah’s Naturals helped them reach that milestone.
