FORT MYERS, Fla.–If a pet owner is taking a joint health supplement, his or her pet is most likely doing the same. Among households with pets, 62.5 percent of companion animals are taking a joint supplement when an owner was also taking one, according to Flexcin International, which analyzed customer patterns over the last two years. The company found when a pet owner was not taking a joint health supplement, the percentage of pets taking a supplement dropped to 37.5 percent.
The company, which makes Flexcin with CM8™ joint supplement for people and FlexPet with CM8® joint supplement for dogs, determined these numbers by reviewing Flexcin and FlexPet orders.
The company reported the percentage of households where pets have joint deterioration jumps to 74.6 percent when more than one pet owner in the same house has joint deterioration.
“It’s completely understandable that many people experiencing health pain are exercising less until they’re able to nourish themselves back to better health through a combination of proper diet, lifestyle and supplements," said Tamer Elsafy, CEO and founder of Flexcin. “Unfortunately, we’re finding that in many cases one or more pets in the same household also suffer because the healthy lifestyle is lacking for the entire household, not just the pet owner."
